Jorge Ramos Hopes For ‘Gun Control President’

Univision anchor Jorge Ramos continues to shill for gun control. This time, he does so on his Facebook Watch platform.

Watch below as this week’s edition of “Real America with Jorge Ramos” closes with a blend of gun control rhetoric, a listing of proposals, and further statements of gun-control hope:

U.S. SEN. CORY BOOKER (D-NJ): It is time for us as a nation not to normalize the violence and the carnage of gun violence. It is time that we come together and stand together and take the fight to the NRA and the corporate gun lobby like we have never seen before!

JORGE RAMOS: Booker wants to be the Gun Control President. He’s even introduced a sweeping gun violence prevention package that would close loopholes for gun sales, crack down on gun manufacturers, and invest in communities impacted by gun violence.

BOOKER: Hello everybody!

RAMOS: Gun violence was front and center at this intimate event in Miami Gardens.

BOOKER: We will pass comprehensive gun safety laws through the Congress. I will make sure, because this is not a policy issue to me, it’s personal.

RAMOS: Booker is betting it will be ne of the top issues that voters will care most about, and one that could be his ticket to the White House.

BOOKER: We are at a moral moment. We are at a crossroads.

Ramos’ gun-control advocacy is nothing new. In fact, it is proof evident that Univision’s “Latino Agenda” goes far beyond simply advocating for expanded immigration. What makes this episode of Real ica notable is that it seems to have been wholly constructed around the purpose of America notable is that it seems to have been wholly built around maintaining advocacy for gun control.

Booker, then, is little more than a prop…a vehicle through which Ramos can convey indirect support for the gun-grabbing cause.

The segment above was preceded by a visit to a mural which depicts one of the casualties of the horrendous Parkland school shooting. Even the mural was rendered to a backdrop to Ramos and Booker’s moral preening on guns.

One wonders whether Ramos understands the extent to which these displays serve to alienate the nation’s Spanish-speaking networks from their audiences. At this rate, it looks like he still hasn’t learned anything from 2016.
